Quarantined with nothing to do? Let's stay busy with discussions!
Feel free to talk about anything below: If you're still planning on going to Sun n Fun with the new postponed dates, any future aviation goals that you have, how you're dealing with the crazy Coronavirus madness, etc..
A friend recommended cleaning/polishing with a product called F11. Any comments on that?
I‘ve flown over the Missouri a bunch, stoped once or twice but never done those strips. Let’s not wait for hunting season...let’s go now. Another Scout owner and I had plans to go to a fly-in that cancelled due to wx last weekend and I’m itching to go somewhere In June... I’ll tie the pod on and bring it so you can get a good look.
Besides the obvious(fuel stops), anybody have suggestions for extending the range of a scout with small tanks?
You’re gonna love the VGs.
Ready for anything. Hey Martin, have you hit any of the Missouri Break Strips on your hunting trips to MT? I’m in NE, talked to you a couple of years ago about pods.
Traveled to Factory for VGs this week. Flew up in the soup, camped in the rain and more soup on the trip home! Only 2 landings w the VGs thus far but believe I'm going to love them! Dixie the gun-dog absolutely loves coming here! Another great experience @ Factory.
In complete lockdown here in New Zealand including no flying!
Hanging out for the day.............
Is there any record of, or someone with knowledge of, Aeronca that was rib stitched vs. screws or rivets?
just tuned into the forum... now I have PLENTY of time to get this 59 tri-champ done!
done!
Day 4 of "work from home", Making cinnamon swirl bread. can't even fly, weather is awful.
I am Zwifting (indoor cycling) since my gym is closed.
Trying to resurrect a 7ECA that is off the FAA register. It was reported scrapped and all paperwork-data plate gone. Sorta feeling like it would be another Easter Miracle to accomplish!
Hehe I will stay the next days at Home Office like they call it. As it means same as doing nothing, I´ll keep myself busy in my shop building my favorite scale model aircraft: Super Dekes and Citabrias
