I'm getting conflicting information.
To do aerobatics such as multiple spins, loops, rolls, cuban eights, etc., but NOT to be in a negative G situation for more than a ten to twenty seconds, am I O.K. with a carbureted engine? Or is it likely to quit?
THANKS!
I used to fly Acro in a Citabria and on top of the loop, properly rounded out, the engine would quit for a short time due to lack of gasoline... when pulling Gs again the engine always came on again. Never had any trouble with the engine...
Per FAA approved flight manual and placard P/N 1-10625, the aircraft is approved for aerobatics with a carbureted engine.
