Hi ACA, Do you have Aileron spades to suit a 1978 7GCBC? If so, what would be the lead time to purchase?

We do not have any aileron spades that are approved for the wood spar wings. If you have American Champion metal spar wings, we have those with a 2 week lead time.

I was informed that your spades could be installed with a field approval. Flight Standards will want to know if installation of the spades will cause any undue stress on the wood wings. I assume there would be none since they assist with roll. Is there any data that would support the installation?
