Good day, I recently purchased a sweet 2004 Citabria Explorer 7GBCB, I am interested in installing larger tires from the 6's to the 8's that come standard on the High country. Will I need to order tubes as well or will the existing tubes work? Will I need spacers or shims etc.? Any advise would be appreciated.

ACA may or may not have a copy of the old revision 7-1307 drawing - the TCDS and parts manual may be your best source of information for the 1969 model. The current revision of 7-1307 allows for 6.00x6, 7.00x6, 8.00x6, and 8.50x6 tires (the drawing uses the aluminum axle; disk and axle spacers are required for the 8.00x6 and 8.50x6 tires).
Please provide the disk and axle spacer part numbers if able. Thank you for your consideration.
There is a spacer that is part number 11-0975 spacer that will go between the brake disc and the wheel hub on each side and a part number 11-0955 spacer that will go between the axle and the landing gear. If you have spring steel gear this is denoted on an addendum to the landing gear installation drawing 7-1307 which allows up to 8.50x6 tires and tubes to be used. If you have the aluminum gear this is depicted on drawing 7-1559 which also allows up to 8.50x6 tires and tubes. Larger tires can be installed however they require a different axle, brake and wheel setup which is covered under drawing 4-2042.
